The good folks of Next-Gen.biz had the pleasure of talking with the main man in control of the upcoming Crackdown. Dave Jones is often associated with being the creator the Grand Theft Auto  series and to a lesser extent Lemmings. He has a lot to say when it comes to not trying to live up to the GTA name, hence Crackdown is not GTA. His praise towards Xbox live is very cool as well, because I can’t stand playing a game nowaday’s that doesn’t have Live functionality. Gears of War’s most heralded feature was it’s Xbox Live co-op, but how about Live co-op in a sandbox game where your a super-cop. I can’t wait!
