Lost Planet has already become a hit selling over one million copies between America and Europe. NewsDip is reporting it has sold over 1,040,000 copies so far. Capcom’s intial hope was for 740,000 copies and they have well succeeded their goal. Start work on Lost Planet 2 now. I plan to purchase it today, hopefully I can find a copy.

Picked up my preorder today, game is uber-pretty. The preorder figure is pretty lame, not many joints/movements, but still free is free. CE CD wasn’t that special to me, it felt lacking. I love the game so far, did the training level and level one, I had to look in the instructions for how to play since it doesn’t show that which to me isn’t a good thing but eh it worked. The text suffers Dead Risings “Small Text” issue, Capcom is getting famous for that eh?

I got in at Best Buy, one of the few collector’s copies left. The first level was fun, hopefully it stays fun as the reviews point to the action stopping as it goes on.

This game is cool (literally
) but I just haven’t been able to get into it. Gears casts a long shadow and I only have so much 3rd person shooting love to spread.
