Whenever you turn on your Xbox or Xbox 360 the one thing that should come to mind immediately is community. Friends list and all, playing games with other people with the same interest as you can be something that transcends gaming passed the way it always used to be when we all had to go to each others place to play together or play in purgatory by our selves against the computer that always seems to cheat.
Now with the inception of Xbox Live, this sense of community becomes more and more important to not just the PC space, but now the console as well. No one wants to play by themselves any more. Even with single player game experiences like Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, it’s still a constant urge to check your friends gamercard to check on there status to compare against your own.
Luckily a few very prominent and overly deserving members of the Xbox Community and gaming community at large have been featured over on on10.net for the last few months. The latest to be featured are Vicious696 of Unclegamer.com and JVB of Podtacular.com at the Crackdown community event that was held a few short weeks ago( Our very own “Micheal Pacheco” Thrills Killa also attended). Showing support for the community like no other company, Microsoft continues to show that there not the faceless empire that so many believe.
Giving a very nice interview to Tina Wood, Vicious696 and JVB discuss there respectful podcast(blogcast) and feelings on the community. Previously profiled are Deaconblade360, Cjivan, and Godfree. Putting a face to some of the influential people in the Xbox Community, these interviews show just a piece of what the community is about. If you have a Xbox 360 without xbox live, then do your self a favor and get your butt on Live so you don’t feel like your a lone gamer anymore. The Xbox Community awaits you.
