Yep. Coming from Project Director Casey Hudson of BioWare, Mass Effect will indeed fit onto one disc. As posted on the Mass Effect IGN Blog, this wasn’t always the case. Giving this confirmation, why does it matter if it fits onto one disc or not?

It does help the user experience to not have to switch disc mid game of course. This really goes to show that we have all become so lazy as to facilitate this information being released in the first place.  No wonder gamers are ususally considered couch potatoes.
