However, on the Gears of War forums, Mark Rein says ” The Gamespot article is wrong. Cliff didn’t confirm anything of the sort.”

With that all done and out of the way, of course there’s going to be a Gears of War 2. This is very much like the times when Bungie would go out of there way to disprove the non-existence of Halo 3 before it was finally shown at last years E3. So, don’t go have a heart attack with uncertainty of a continuation of Gears of War, because we all know money rules the world and Gears is racking in tons of it.
