The Character classes for Bioware’s up coming Sci-fi action role playing game Mass Effect have been revealed. As posted on the Mass Effect Community Forums by Community Coordinator Chris Priestly, there are six classes to choose from in the game for lead character Commander Shepard. The six classes are as listed below:
 

Soldier – Soldiers are Combat specific characters.
Engineer – Engineers are Technology centered characters.
Adept – Adepts are characters especially skilled with Biotic abilities.
Infiltrator – Characters who blend their Combat and Technical abilities.
Sentinel – Characters who balance using Biotic abilities and Technology.
Vanguard – Characters who mix their skills at Combat with their Biotic abilities.

Having been spread all over the Game Developers Conference, this information has been deemed ripe for public viewing. So, there you have it, one more nugget of information. If only a release date was announced.
