The best Sonic game of all time was Sonic CD and I would LOVE to see it come to XBLA. As for these “Extra modes” I think they are just cheats. They pretty much let you skip the levels and have a go at the bosses in a continuous line up. No extra code needed. 108KB files are indicative of “unlockers” so there might be a little extra programming needed but not $2 worth. And here I thought EA was bad…

Stupid as hell, a big F you to SEGA. Last Sonic game I liked was Sonic Adventure 1 on the Dreamcast, no good ones since. Haven’t played the Wii one yet though, heard much praise for it.
