Top 3 Xbox Games that need a sequel on the Xbox 360

With everything out there being a top ten list of some form or another, with this list I’ll be getting down to the top 3 (not ten) original Xbox games that absolutely need a sequel on the Xbox 360. While other games from the xbox have or have not been announced for a later release, these 3 need to be made no matter what. Of course making games is about making money, but these games need to be made if not for the love of it, they should be made because I said so.

Jet Set Radio Future: In this sequel to one of the most original Dreamcast games, this game set it self in a vision of future Tokyo. Developed by Smilebit, a gang of teenagers with the itch for graffiti, fight “The Man” with some of the best use of Cel Shading to date.

Crimson Skies: The guys over at Fasa Studios hinted at this on a recent (02/23/2007) 1up yours podcast/blogcast. Nevertheless they better be working on a sequel to this game alongside Shadowrun. Crimson Skies was the blue print for what the initial phase of Xbox Live was and is all about to this day. Being a graphical showcase for the original Xbox, this game was set in a alternate past where blimps have become the dominate form of transportation and warfare. A premise that has been used many times over since then, a sequel to this is sorely needed.

Panzer Dragoon Orta: In another game developed by Smilebit, this game was criticized for being a “on rails shooter”, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a fantastic game. Featuring some of the craziest looking dragons you’llever see, this sequel to the original Sega Saturn series of games of past lure, was yet another graphical showcase for the Xbox. Dragons with “freakin lasers” is enough for a sequel to me.

Sadly, only one(Crimson Skies) of these titles is backward compatible on the Xbox 360 as of yet. These may be hard to find, but are worth every effort to locate.

Only so much of a fan of Crimson Skies, but the other 2 rocked hard.

Jet was awesome, the other two I didn’t like but Jet Set was my first ever Xbox title played and I loved it.

How about another Wolfenstien game. Return to Castle Wolfenstien was one of the first live games as well and I think was rivaled only by Crimson Skies and Halo I believe.
