More than $1 per song? Weak.
Paying for DLC that unlocks content already on the disc? LAME!!

PLEASE don’t make us pay for unlocker downloads Red Octane! And Double Please don’t charge more than 80 MSP per song. I’m so excited for this game, but I’m afraid of the consumer whoring that will go on.

I’m sure I’ll be set with the songs it comes with for quite some time, though it will be nice to know there will be more when I’m in need.

and some one will probably post the unlocker codes on the internet anyway

(normal price is either $79.99 or $89.99 I can’t seem to remember which and I’m too lazy to look it up right now)

by the way…. dose n e one know the list for the “new” songs, besides for the ones above. ive seen the list b 4 and for sure “Master of Puppets” will be a new song on that list. but ive forgotten what page i saw it on.

A Dragon Force track would be absolutley amazing, (fury of the storm… perhaps)i would also love to see master of puppets or something by Unearth….

500 msp for 3 songs is a lowsy deal, guitar hero 1 for the ps2 costs $40 for a game with 30+ tracks, why the hell would anyone want to pay around $6.50 for 3 tracks. $3.50 even feels a little unreasonable. Redoctane should rethink their product marketing and sell songs for rougly $1 each like itunes etc..

you have to be dreaming if you think metallica would allow someone to reproduce a piece of their work in any way… i mean, remember what happened with them and napster?

I had to triple check to make sure it was really written 500 points. Then my mind forgot how much points are worth. I knew it would be around 6$ (plus I’m from Canada, so it’s even more) but I couldn’t cope with it. That is way too much. The price would need to be around what the first game costs to be reasonable. For brand new songs it seem that horrible but same songs, just added stuff to be made available for co-op play. It’s really a cheap way to rob us of our cash. I am not going to buy and I hope you guys don’t also so we can take a stand to overpriced marketplace items.

If anyone knows of a complete list of downloadable songs, please let me/us know too.

I think we should build a list of songs WE want and set it up as a petition, ya know, have tons of people sign it and then tell Microsoft/RedOctane to supply our demand.
Knowing what is already available is a necessity so that we won’t sound like complete idiots.
