Shipping Out: Maps

This week shipping out there’ll be no games, there won’t be any retail games until May. But this week there will be two new Halo maps for $4 on the original Xbox. The maps are called Tombstone and Desolation, both maps are from the first Halo but recieved updated graphics. So who is buying the maps out there when they release April 17?

Not I! I don’t play Halo2 at all really and I’m holding out for the GoW maps whenever they show their faces.

yeah, they shuold have kept it for 360 only, because the main people who play halo 2 are still on origional xbox and this would help move alot of them over.

There are going to be four new maps according to Mark Rein. 1up did a story saying they’d follow Halo Model. They’d cost money for a month then would be free.

I still don’t understand all the fuss about GOW. I understand that graphically it’s an amazing game and that the intellectual property is unique but it’s gameplay blows. Doesn’t it? I mean until Annex there were no respawns? Has Epic ever justified why they don’t have all out ’slayer’ match modes? When I play it’s so frustrating because it’s a simple case of whoever’s first out the gates gets the kill and then you start again, where the same then repeats.

The sniper rifle in GOW has not one iota the amount of satisfaction the smooth barrel action of Halo’s sniper offers and yeah, chainsaw. Okay chainsaw rules, no dispute but is that all it offers over Halo cause I have gotten tired of it already.

I think they rushed GOW at the end and I think it shows but that’s just my opinion.
