I have noticed that Major Nelson's twitter page has shown "recording pac man audio" for the last 7 hours. Does this mean we will be able to play that wakka, wakka sound whenever we want. Empire to bring speedball II to XBLA

As you heard earlier, Empire is set to release Double Dragon onto XBLA this week, they also announced that they will bring the classic Speedball II: Brutal Deluxe to the arcade as well. It is a futuristic sports game part handball, part ice hockey, played by six players a-side on a court with steel walls and a ball also made of steel, Speedball lacks any rules and any kind of contact is allowed... more.

Bach says Xbox will be profitable next year

Microsoft's Robbie Bach, president of the Entertainment and Devices Division, stated that the Xbox will begin to see profits in 2008. He says that for nine months ended March 31 Microsoft's (EDD) has reported an operating loss of $693 million. Although, when he states that the Xbox will be profitable in 2008, he doesn't mean that they will have recovered from the total amount of loss incurred ... more.

Famed Japanese Developer Hironubu Sakaguchi of Mistwalker Studios recently had some rather un-unique comments referring to the state of many things including the PlayStation 3 and Ken Kutaragi, but after those salty comments where spoken he spread the same salty love to the Xbox 360.
