The guys over at Joystiq have found some interesting news about the next installment of the Wolfenstein series in a random story about motion capture technology from a Wisconsin television station of all places. Apparently, the focus of the story is centered around actress Raven Software hired to play an “elite force assassin” in the new game. An elite force assassin kicking Nazi butt sounds pretty interesting to me and I am very excited to see what the creators have in mind for this game. The original Xbox title “Return to Castle Wolfenstein” was one of the first online multiplayer games for Xbox Live and was widely popular. I probably spent around 100 hours or so playing it myself, the simplistic nature and easy to learn controls made the game highly addictive. I can’t wait to hear an official announcement about the game and would love to see it released later this year.
