The Xbox 360 is no stranger to the “3 red lights of doom/death” as it’s been called most often, but what about when you see three red lights and it still works. I thought this was a bait and switch at first to Pasz, but why would anyone do that? You would have to be one lonely soul to fake it. So bring on the Ghost Busters. The Scalari Brothers are in my 360.

I’ve gotten red lights maybe 5 times. A reboot worked every time.
I’m guessing this is just some flaw in the Elite where it doesn’t stop the console. Maybe the Elite blows up after a while?

Well I am experiencing it as well rrod, but I can play with it enough that it will eventually come on and then just don’t cut it off for as long as possible..But has taken as many as 20 tries before it will work at times.. Ironically WHEN it does boot up correctly, it has been after playing with the power supply itself..Not the xbox..

I have the 3 red lights but I just reboot and it works again. Just started happening but… At least I can still use it. This is my 2nd xbox that did this but the first one died when I saw the red lights.
