Sega Racing Studio’s plans on putting out a demo for both the 360/PS3 version before the game releases in September. Guy Wilday of Racing Studio’s stated that, “We’re looking at exactly how the demo’s going to work and what we’re going to do. The balancing act with demos is always obviously not to give too much away.” He also talked briefly about the potential to play cross-platform and admits that it probably won’t make it into the game. I never knew how much work actually went into making a demo; I just assumed they slapped a pre-release build onto the marketplace. I’m not that naive but I didn’t realize how much some developers stress about what features to release in a demo and how they want the demo to play giving the player just a taste.
