Some guys over at CVG have discovered an interesting rumor over in the US Official Xbox Magazine that the third title in the series could hit shelves this Christmas. It was previously reported that BioWare had created a separate internal studio to work on a Star Wars: Massive Multiplayer Online game, but not many other details have been released. After doing some digging though it was discovered that many people were holding out for KOTOR 3, or a third in the series rather than a MMO game. Keep in mind though that these are simply rumors and until there is an official announcement this information should be taken with a grain of salt.

It would be nice to see a Kotor 3, but since we haven’t seen anything for it yet I doubt it will be released by Christmas. I hope they use the new next gen force engine.

I can’t wait, but i don’t think it would be a good MMO. Arn’t all the jedi dead? It wouldn’t make sence if a million of them poped out of nowhere.

i seriosly will not buy the game if its a MMO. finish the series first so and then make a MMO with another game if u like… who agrees? =]
