Earlier this week Ubisoft released another map pack out of the blue. The “Black Pack” which included the following:
Name: Player’s Pack: Black Edition
Price: 800 Points FREE
Availability: All Xbox Live regions
Dash Details: Not to be outdone by the Red Edition, the award winning development team for Rainbow Six Vegas continues to raise the stakes on the game Team Xbox called the “Multiplayer Game of the year” with the all new Player’s pack: Black Edition. This pack includes 5 maps; 3 new never before seen maps like Red Lotus and Wartown, a reduxed version of Streets, and a very special appearance by an original classic, PRESIDIO from the award-winning Rainbow Six 3. Place your bets on the Player’s Packs: Black Edition to complete the ultimate Vegas experience.
Size: 705.5 MB (approx.)
Although, Ubisoft has come out and announced that the content was originally supposed to be free to all and is back up for download at no cost, yeah!. Everyone who recently paid to purchase the content will be repaid in full (within 8 to 10 weeks) and as a “token of their appreciation” Ubisoft will also be releasing the “Red Pack” for free come July 6th. I for one am happy to see Ubisoft keeping the fans happy with some free content; especially since they are bringing back some old favorites that never seem to go out of style. I was looking to drop an extra 10 dollars for these new maps seeing as I never played the maps in the Red Pack too much, but it seems my prayers have been answered. I for one have always been a big Ubisoft fan and buy most of the games in every Tom Clancy series and its nice to see them rewarding their dedicated fans.

I wasn’t ready to cough up another 800 points, now I don’t have to. Yeah. I’ve barely played any of the red pack stuff, thanks to Gears of suck me away from every other game war.
