It’s been nine month’s and counting since the Bungie Podcast had seen the light of day. It looked bleak to whether or not we would hear new editions of it again. Jump ahead to now, Luke Smith aka Lukems is hired, fans anticipate the return of the Bungie podcast, and like usual we were all still left waiting for the podcast to return.

This week, the wait is no longer. At the helm as expected is Luke Smith, with Brian Jarrard and Frank O’Connor. “Special guest” are Multiplayer Designer Lars Bakken and Bungie’s Technical Lead Chris Butcher. The podcast can be downloaded from the Bungie News page. Here’s to at least a few more opportunities to hear the “Bungie Kids” theme once again. I myself had completely forgotten about it.

Now on to the real business of the day. Luke Smith jokingly got shafted at 1up by not being included in the credits. Alright, he’s not at 1up anymore and his respect is sure to come now that he’s at Bungie. The grass is always greener on the otherside, right? Well, nope. Luke isn’t in the credits of this podcast either. What give’s Bungie? 1up Yours and now this. I guess the Luke Smith conspiracy has continued.
