If your a seasoned Xbox gamer then you’d most likely be aware of the X’O events that Microsoft had put on for the European Market since its inception back in 2001. Much like the Microsoft Press Briefing from E3 of last week, the X’07 events where much the same, but all Xbox everything all of the time. Unfortunately Aaron Greenberg, group product manager for Xbox 360 and Xbox Live, has let it be known that the sudden shock of news whirling around the Xbox Community has yet to seize with the news of X’07 being next in the heads lights of disappointment.
As heard on the Squad XP podcast,”There is not a real X07 this year but I think that we will figure out some way to talk about 2008 some time at a different event or a different type of programme.”
Anyway you look at this, change is hard to take for anyone, but so much change all of a sudden is crazy. Peter Moore will certainly be missed and X’07 will definately be the same. Times are changing for Xbox, but lets just hope its all for the better and not for the latter.
