The very notion of Achievements on the Xbox 360 and now Games for Windows have certainly changed the way we all play games. Achievement Unlocked has become a symbol for many things outside of gaming as well, because of this unlocking this or that genius. Rather it’s getting to a destination a hair bit faster than usual or just plain doing something cool, gamers who have played a game on the Xbox 360 or are at the very least aware of the concept of unlocking achievements whether there playing a videogame or not.
Regardless if your stance on achievements are a good thing or not, Gear site SplitReason has taken the achievement craze up a notch. Ushering in achievement locked underwear for women, SplitReason has some serious guts to offer such a product that will definitely see some criticism of some form or fashion. Either way, take it for what you will. I’d bet Microsoft never guessed achievements would become this universal.

“a hair bit faster”? Now that’s an intended pun.
