Well, not necessarily the big bucks but a pretty decent amount. There has been so much hype over this faceplate not only because of the anticipation of the game itself but because there is a limited number of faceplates that have been distributed. 5,100 to be exact and they were only given out to GameStop employees if you can believe that, but a few were also given out to notable community members as well.
I wish I could get my hands on this one these myself but the only way that could happen is if I were to win that Joystiq contest which seems highly unlikely. It appears though that some people don’t value these faceplates as much as others and many have been appearing on eBay going anywhere from $50-$100. A pretty hefty price for a faceplate no matter how limited it might be, but it is always a little disappointing to see people profiting from the generosity of a publisher. Anyway, these faceplates are the “hot ticket” so to speak and if you can get your hands on one you are a very lucky person. I mean would you sell this little piece of Bioshock memorabilia if you had the chance to make a quick profit?
Heck, if I win it from Joystiq I will gladly put it up here for one loyal fan to win.

That much profit I’d keep it, but if it got into multiple-hundreds I’d sell it so I could actually get the games I want this Q4 =P

I hear you and I would probably be the same. $100 is not enough profit for me to get rid of it but it is a pretty sweet looking faceplate to say the least.
