Over the last 24 hours, NeoGAF forum rumors of Toys R’ Us stores selling Bioshock early have been ablaze. Naturally, everyone and there mother started to call around or better yet show up at there local  Toys R Us looking to get there hands on 2K’s hopeful masterpiece early. Ad spots like the  following where recorded as evidence of a early release of the game as well (Available now clearly seen at the end of video).

Of course, this ad is meant to be seen after the release date of August 21st, but how did it get aired early? Adding to the confusion are the images like the following of the Xbox 360 version of the game in hand’s of the few that benefited from this broken street date (Small image yes, but Bioshock it is). Retail experience of myself alone would say that Toys R’ Us has some explaining to do. Chalk it all up to a classic broke street date as for it not being posted here until now. Sorry kids, but Bioshock isn’t officially out yet.
