i like the sounds of the coop achievements alot especially the career. i really dont like the button masher achievements and i really really really dont like the “play the creators achievment”. i wish it was more of a viral than straight play creators. also, i bet the 0 gamr score secret achieve is either a viral or a lose on easy

Microsoft needs to start regulating gaming achievements. Some of these gaming achievements are dumb. No offense to Harmonix I think Guitar Hero is a great game, but seriously they want you to play this game over and over and over again, which is lame. Sorry but sitting there for a ten minute song like “Free Bird” 10 times in row trying to accomplish achievements such as five gold stars, 1000 note streaks, playing it with my left hand, playing it on the regular xbox controller, trying to get one million points, and then having to replay 120 songs you just beat on easy, medium, hard, and expert on co-op mode and then tyring to win 500 ranked matches online is ridiculous. Harmonix your game is good but it is not good enough to were a gamer wants to dedicate 8 months to playing the same songs over and over to become a Guitar Hero!

i personally love the guitar hero 2 achievements. it forced me to continues play the game which in turn made me a better player. i started off haviun difficulty on medium, and now im finished with expert and only 10 songs away from 5 stars on all hard (360 hasent worked for 3 weeks so im rusty) lol

Yeah man. I think that some of these achievements are rediculous. Stuff like high scores, buyin all the crap beatin songs 100% is ok but……………with the controller and the lefty thing and consecutive online match wins? I don’t think so. At least i don’t have much concern cuz i’m a Ps3 owner.

Hey guys, I don’t find the button masher achievement stupid for two reasons: It forces people to try something new, and because i already have it.

Does anyone know if the lefty flip is all difficulties or just any of them, coz it shouldn’t be too hard on easy if you know what i mean. I’ve started now, but it’s getting late so I’m not going to be able to finish now.

ok i think some are dumb but i love the 200K on cult of personality. my fave one.. but controller one i just dide half the medium career and got it using a controller even though it syas hard or expert. and lefty flip i did like 3 songs on left flip and beat the rest and it gave it to me.. i just think its rediculous to gold star 20 songs i have 6 but some just seem hard.. which i like i like the challenge but yeah i do agree like 750000 for a single player.. theres one song in the game that you can get 750 k on and its through fire and flames.. which is rediculous.. because i beat it but i dont feel like hearing that song over and over again.. 600 k would seem more pheasable.. i like the challenge but some of these make me not want to play the game… guitar hero four is going to be video tape your self blind folded while playing some redulous song naked. while eating pizza and calling your girl firend to coime suck your dick .. i love the game and some of the achievements but some of them are just stupid where not playing controller hero 3

yea i got the buy a guitar already achievement by accident, i did what By said. my friend wanted to beat a song using the xbox controller on hard… voila! achievement unlocked! i’m almost done with expert now(one more song, TDWDTG). i think the achievements make you work harder, i personally like them, i ALMOST have the long road ahead achievement. Just have one xpert song, and all of easy and medium. once “the devil went down to georgia” is beaten on xpert, that achievement is mine…
