UPDATE: Pictures have been removed as requested by Microsoft but you can still view the scans over at Kotaku.com Hopefully these videos can hold you over until the 25th of September in any case. I know the date on the first video is wrong don’t blame me
All this hype surrounding Bioshock has drawn too much attention away from the real “Game of the Year” or at least somebody seems to think so. Somehow scans from the Halo 3 manual have “accidentally” leaked onto the Internet. While I have yet to find the source of this leak many sites have already managed to post them from this mysterious source. I wouldn’t be so surprised to find that this was no accident in the first place, but either way Halo fanboys can finally quench their thirst for all things Halo a bit with these juicy details.
The scans detail the back story leading up to the fight for Earth and a glimpse of all the characters and weapons in the game; if that’s too much for you to handle you might want to look away now, but if you can’t contain your excitement then check back after the break for all the scans.

(Spoiler Alert:)For some reason the Brutes are not mentioned (neither are any weapons besides the brute spiker) in the pages of the manual that are shown, but this might only be a couple pages from the full manual. On the other hand, this could lead one to think that the scans might not be authentic in the first place; I’ll let you decide for yourself.
If you look closer you’ll realize that pages 6-7 are missing and there is no mention of the flamethrower or any of the grenades either, not to mention the absence of the power drainer, bubble shield, and boost lift.

Give me a break guys. I guess I could go out on a limb and say that the Halo 3 official strategy guide will probably sell more copies than Bioshock, but then again I’m not that much of a Halo fanboy.
Or I can be really crazy and say that Skate will be the winning title. Who knows, with all that skateboarding action who could possibly resist the endless ollie action that one can partake in.
