In a further attempt to squelch the never ending woes of Xbox 360 repair, Microsoft has now setup a new site in which it makes the some would say inevitable just a little bit easier should you fall victim. The site is to let you register your Xbox or Xbox 360 console, setup a repair, and track the status of the repair all from that site alone. Unfortunately, the site is for US customers only.
In the words of John Porcaro, “We hope you don’t need to use it, but if you do, we hope it speeds things along. ” Huge understatement, I think not.

Gerardo Fermin: Call 1-800-4-my-xbox. They’ll ask you to remove the hard drive if you have one and try to start it that way. Then they’ll ask you to unplug and replug all of the cables and try it again. In that event you still see the three red lights you’ll be given and RMA number. They’ll ship you a box for your 360 to the address they have on file, or you can provide your on box if you want. The site talked about above can be used to check the status of the repair.
It’s unfortunate that you have to go through this, so lets hope this issue can be resolved.
