Ever since Geometry Wars Evolved busted onto the XBLA at the Xbox 360’s launch, fans of the game have been wondering when the next game would be making its return to the Xbox 360. A game for the Nintendo Wii has been announced, but what about the platform that made Geometry Wars famous. Surely the Xbox Platform hasn’t been forgotten.

Just as in previous editions of Project Gotham Racing, the 4th installment will have arcade cabinets that are playable in the games car garages. This was where the now famed Geometry Wars craze began, and this time around it will be no different.

Anxious fans of Geometry Wars have surely been wanting and waiting for there next fix in some form or fashion. Found on the Xbox Live Arcade last time around and in the car garages of PGR3, the now Geometry Wars: Waves will indeed be found in the next PGR games car garage. Great news for sure, but this time the game will only be found in PGR 4 and not be available on Xbox Live Arcade this time around. A bummer, maybe, but another Geometry Wars it is and that’s all most only want. Now for the wait.
