A nice way to start of this story would be… “Well, its EA.” Maxis and EA are planning on bringing the evolution sim to next gen but according to the Maxis Executive, Patrick Buechener, “It just wont be at launch.” This news isn’t coming out of a nowhere, a few months (or years, I can’t tell with Spore) ago Will Wright shared his vision of putting Spore on PC, 360, PS3, and basically anything that can play games. The only thing that worries me is user created content on Xbox Live, But since EA uses their own servers they could bypass the marketplace, hmmm.

User created stuff would be nice, but you could put “Well, its EA…” there again. I expect bad things to come from it, and if there is user created content they’d charge each person to upload it, and then charge everyone who downloads it knowing them.

I think that it will install files that will secretly cause your 360 to call EA based on everything you do on live. It would be like the Bush Easedropping program but more legal.
