Can’t wait for Halo 3? If so and your a NASCAR fan, you to won’t be spared in the Halo 3 marketing blitz. Announced today by Target, Microsoft and Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates, the number 40 car in the Sunday, Sept. 23 Dover 400 Nextel Cup Series race at Dover International Speedway will be branding a Halo 3 themed paint scheme for the race. CGRFS driver David Stremme, who will be driving this Halo 3 themed car had this to say about the upcoming experience:

“I’m honored and excited to be running the ‘Halo 3′ car at Dover and can’t wait to show off this awesome paint scheme,” said Stremme. “It’s going to be a special experience when the car rolls off the truck for the first time at Dover – as a Halo fan, I’m thrilled.”

Not that anyone who just so happens to be a NASCAR driver at that particular race would be jealous of not driving the Halo themed car, some select drivers will get a chance to play the game in advance of the games release. For the rest of us, we can all safely say that it most definitely is starting to feel like everyone ( not really everyone) is getting to play this game before the “real fans” are previledged to do the same.
