I don’t know if anyone is happy about this. I can’t buy Heroes Season 1 next year. The cryptic messages coming from European Business Development Director for HD DVD of Microsoft Mark Bennet (yeah, what a nice title) are all but encouraging.

“The interactive features actually work on HD DVD whereas Blu-ray titles are six to nine months away from getting features that actually work,”

So now you can interact more with your movies for 20 euros (I have no clue what that means in US dollars) less. So buy now and get screwed or buy later and possibly be more screwed if Blu Ray wins… Anyone feel good about this crap?

UPDATE 1-Gizmodo says this is not true.
