I would like to see some more gameplay but I guess that isn’t really what Microsoft is trying to sell with this ad. Pulling emotion out of the Halo universe isn’t very hard for fans but making casual gamers and the non gaming public understand this isn’t as easy as showing someone getting fragged in a multiplayer match. I guess by using actual people and relating Halo 3 to a real battle does a good job at selling it to those people who never played campaign in H2 or H1, but I don’t think its doing its job of selling it to people who just go to see action flix or read Tom Clancy novels. Don’t get me wrong I like the ads, I just don’t know who exactly its supposed to excite.

Honestly I don´t like them, I mean they are good but no ad can beat the “Gears Of War” ad! They should have done something like that, at least a cinematic trailer.

Jkrincon: Actually they did do a cinematic trailer for Halo 3. Remember that “Starry Night” ad during Monday Night Football last year. It didn’t have a Tears for Fears cover or did it, but it was still nice. I wonder if any of that is alluded to in the game since I’m not special enough to have the game already. Review copy please. Anyone? Ahhh whatever, it’s only 2 and a half days away.

Well yes I remember that one, but they should make another one, I think it sells better, well I don´t know, they are the big company I´m just a gamer who enjoys the big company´s inventions xD

I really like the ads, they make the game feel like a real war. Showing replicas of the guns, and showing warthogs and all the things from Halo makes the whole game feel epic.
