A game that has had such a niche following in recent years seams to have found its spot in the xbox community.  Creator Jeff Minter said today on his blog that the fauna-rific shooter has sold 10k units.  Minter believes the game sold “reasonable good” and it shows that an Indie game at 400 points can still succeed. 

Although all the responses have not been favorable, Minter doesn’t seem phased as he responds with, ”I’ll be ready to kick in the bollocks anyone who tries to claim that we’ve been lax or careless in our creation.”  Next time I log on live the first thing I am going to do is grab Space Giraffe (as soon as I get around to playing the Medal Of Honor Demo).
