This week sees the retail release of just one, yep one, Skate 2. As it turns out, the original release of Skate inadvertently killed off what was known of the Tony Hawk franchise, but I doubt you’ll see any tears coming for the Electronic Arts camp. Just as 2K set out to make a name for itself with it’s sports offerings a decade ago now against none other than EA Sports, Skate has done just that. Whether or not it’s “to hard” is another story for some.
