It doesn’t matter anymore because Capcom has officially announced Dead Rising 2 for the Xbox 360, PC and some other unimportant console. Set in the “gambling paradise of Fortune City” years after the first title, You take control of a new protagonist and struggle to survive the Nationwide zombie apocalypse. Let’s just hope this new character has covered wars too.

Although it is being developed by Blue Castle Games, who brought you The BIGS and Major League Baseball 2K8, Capcom did stated that “A number of members from the original Dead Rising team will be working alongside Blue Castle Games throughout the development process.” No official release date has been set.
