The sequel to 2004’s Xbox title, Red Dead Revolver, has been confirmed for a Fall 2009 release. Developed by Rockstar San Diego, Red Dead Redemption will take advantage of Rockstar’s own Rockstar Advanced Game Engine (RAGE) to demonstrate “an open-world environment for players to explore, including frontier towns, rolling prairies teeming with wildlife, and perilous mountain passes – each packed with an endless flow of varied distractions.”

Red Dead Redemption places you at the turn of the 20th century, divulging you into the story of  a former outlaw named John Marston. Nothing was stated about the return of Red Dead Revolver’s protagonist Red Harlow, but all of you Red Dead fans (All 12 of you) should keep your Red Dead heads up.
