This Wednesday June 17th, Telltale Games’ brilliant Sam & Max: Save the World releases along side Wizard’s of the Coast’s Magic: The Gathering – Duels of the Planeswalkers.

Sam & Max: Save the World is Season 1 of the episodic PC series many have enjoyed. If you have yet to experience the excellence of point and click adventures, Sam & Max’s price tag of 1600 Microsoft Points [$20] sets you up right with the series first 6 episodes. Given the superb controls of Wallace & Gromit: Fright of the Bumblebees, I’m sure the XBLA edition of Sam & Max will transfer over quite well.

The second release this Wednesday is the XBLA edition of the popular card game Magic: The Gathering. More than likely this will be a niche market release and a must try before buy for most gamers. Those that are fans of the card game will enjoy single-player, co-op, and co-op campaign modes with multiple games within each including a puzzle mode.
