In a surprise announcement, Harmonix brought out the big guns by announcing Nirvana would be bringing a three pack as well. The tracks were not the ones that everyone expected, however. When Harmonix announced that Nirvana would be one of the big-name groups to bring DLC to Rock Band, most fans speculated it would include “Smells Like Teen Spirit”. Instead, fans are getting three gems from Nirvana’s lesser-known debut album, Bleach, including the phenomenal track, “Blew”.

The four pack from the Foo Fighters will contain two of the most requested hits from their career, “The Pretender” and “Best of You”, plus their two new songs off of their Greatest Hits album, including their current spectacular hit, “Wheels”.

The only other track being released this week through DLC will be Joan Jett’s “Fake Friends”, which seems like an odd choice from Jett, as some of her bigger hits like “I Love Rock & Roll” and “I Hate Myself for Loving You” remain absent from Rock Band platform.

Don’t forget that if you purchase Lego Rock Band on Tuesday, you can export all 45 tracks to Rock Band 2 for $10 (after paying the $50 for the disc, of course).
