This week in retail you have a really easy choice; Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 or Dragonball: Raging Blast pretty much. With the Xbox Platform having a huge debt to give to the Halo franchise for its continued success, is it sacrilege to think that a third party mulitplatform title can surpass it? And if your answer to that is yes, then you’ll likely be witness to a none first party title taking the crown as the creme de la creme of the Xbox 360 in terms of sales and time played on Xbox LIVE. Don’t forget the Modern Warfare console either. If you want a 250GB hard drive say hello to your new friend.
Dare I say it? On the flip-side (Oh that cliché hurt), you have the second Dragonball outing on the Xbox 360. This time being published by Namco Bandai, there’s a steep up hill battle for fighting game supremacy. With lots of other fighting games already available like Tekken 6, BlazBlue, Street Fighter IV, Virtua Fighter 5, and a slew on XBLA like Marvel vs Capcom 2 no one should envy the task Raging Blast is in for. Then again you have to remember the horde of Dragonball fans out there. They’ll throw that previous sentence in the face of all haters in a heartbeat. Can I get a Kamehameha!?
