He’s a store webmaster that enjoys his food and… doesn’t watch TV!?

First of all, thanks for taking out the time to answer some Q’s for the TXD X-Spot. What is your name? and where do you reside?

First, thanks for having me as part of the X-Spot! My name is Mike Masashi Murakami III and I am currently in Orlando, FL.

PacoDG, how did you come up with that Gamertag?

Sadly, it all stems from racism and that clothing line called “Paco”.. I come from California where people are slightly more open minded about certain aspects of culture, such as dress. So when hitting up Florida and coming to middle school, my rather large baggy Paco pants and shirts were not the norm, and thus I was nick named Paco.

The “DG” part… well, that was made up to ensure that I can register on every site and have a unique user name :p

Open minded eh? What is it you do for your job?

I have two jobs, during the day, I am a little more than a furniture store webmaster. Data input, SEO stuff, photoshopping, taking pictures, etc. I basically maintain a functional store online.

During the night and weekends, I am a Binge Gamer. I play games, talk games, write about games, play some more games, and then sleep to a game of Tetris that is playing in my mind (c’mon, I can’t be the only person that happens to, you play Tetris too much and after a day you are able to play a game in your mind.. c’mon, somebody!?)

When not at your job, what hobbies do you have that aren’t videogames?

Whew… not videogames…hmm..I like food. I draw for fun. I write a couple of comic books. And though I won’t lie and say “I don’t watch TV!” .. I will say that I keep myself limited to watching only 30 Rock, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Simpsons (yeah, even new episodes), South Park, and Jimmy Kimmel Live. Did I mention I like food?

Food is a glorious treasure. What is your favorite item or feature about the Xbox360 or its LIVE services?

The Xbox 360’s controller d-pad’s awesomeness. Also, the “Quick Launch” from hitting the green X button has been one of my most used features.

What Xbox360 games are you currently playing?

Lego Rock Band + Modern Warfare 2

What game do you most dislike?

I have a fairly strong hatred toward Call of Duty World at War and the Guitar Hero series. Oh, also any game that is a PS3 or Wii exclusive automatically becomes my enemy.

Yeah down with the PlayS… What is your funniest/best moment on Xbox Live?

I try and have a great great time every time I play, but one off the top of my head. I had an amusing game of Call of Duty 4, Sabotage game type, and my most hated level came up “Bloc”. I hate the level so much, I tend to quit out, however, this time around, me and my friends decided to take the bomb to the swimming pool area and defend it for 20 minutes. It pissed off our own team, but we won.

(Notes for those not into CoD4: Bloc is a crappy long open level basically a snipers heaven, Sabotage is a neutral bomb multiplayer game, and a swimming pool is where people usually swim)

Any games this year you’re really looking forward to?

Since my answer was going to be Modern Warfare 2, I am going to jump ahead to first quarter next year and say Lost Planet 2 and Bayonetta.

Any last words for the Xbox Community?

Enjoy Xbox Live while it lasts! OnLive or something similar is the future of gaming, fear it!
