In the retail channel this week comes a few titles that didn’t quite make it into the “I HAVE TO be out before Modern Warfare 2″ stance. There’s MX/ATV racing with the almighty terrain deformation (greatest buzz word/term ever?). Then there’s Avatar: The Game where you’ll feel cheated in nearly every sense when you realize your TV isn’t 3D capable. Does it matter? Who knows. Furthermore is Rogue Warrior. A title that couldn’t have gotten any less push by it’s publisher Bethesda Softworks.
The real kicker this week though, is World in Conflict. Remember World in Conflict? It’s only two years late to the party. It’s PC counterpart released two years ago back when the RTS was the “hot” thing on consoles. Everybody and their mama was and to a lesser extent still is looking to strike it rich with that Halo effect in my console RTS syndrome.
