1 CommentsPosted by Brian Shea on March 17, 2010 under Rant Central, Xbox Domain Feature
Life is full of choices. Some are small decisions, like which DLC to buy or whether or not you should buy a Wii Motion Plus (Spoiler Alert: No). Some are huge decisions, like which wire to cut or whether or not to save that bus from going over the cliff. Either way, those choices come together to make us who we are today. Choices are so common in everyday life, that often times we make choices ... more. -
Airbourne on music in video games

Airbourne has been one of the hottest acts in recent years. Ever since they took the America by storm in 2007 with their international debut, Runnin' Wild, fans of classic rock have flocked to their heavy sound. The sound, which is heavily influenced by AC/DC was first heard on Baltimore's 98 Rock, but shortly thereafter, EA Sports began taking an interest in them. Their music really hit it big... more. -

So, for all of you who got to join us last night to play Left 4 Dead 2, you know it was fun. But not everyone was lucky enough to get a chance to play. For that, we do apologize but come on, we tried. If you do wanna know how much fun we had, I took some time to record video of the game play. Tanks, spitters, jockeys and chargers were very much there last night. As people used the charger to ru... more. -

digg_url = 'http://digg.com/gaming_news/Are_Guitar_Hero_and_Rock_Band_the_new_FM_Radio'; Ever since the original Guitar Hero found a solid audience with gamers back in 2005, rockers both new and experienced have been lobbying to get their songs in both the Rock Band and Guitar Hero games. At first, it seemed a strange phenomenon to have these veteran rockers providing their master tracks to a... more. -
The Xbox Domain’s staff E3 2009 predictions

As the Electronic Entertainment Expo approaches (June 1st at 1pm EST/10am PST should be of particular interest for Xbox 360 gamers) it’s only fitting for TXD to throw its hat into the prediction ring. This will happen or that will happen is of course something that any and all loves to take to task. We “may” not be psychics, Destructoid has you covered there, but the staff of The Xbox Domain... more. -
XBLA Review: The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai

The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai was a winner of Microsoft’s 2006 Dream Build Play competition. It is very refreshing to see something new brought to the XBLA table, but with so much good that was brought with The Dishwasher a lot of bad comes along in tow. Dishwasher is your standard beat ‘em up with the artistic twist of its creator, James Silva. You are thrown into an over the top gore fe... more. -

From the get go of videogames, the world of virtual this or that has largely been perceived as a guys only domain. Am I right? Sure I am. Videogames are frowned upon for most women early on, but then I’m sure your saying to yourself where is my basis and/or fact for such a statement? Well, I don’t need any fact or empirical evidence, because the answer to that question can be seen al... more.

The Xbox Domain is now two writers larger as long time TXD reader Justin Verterano and Lewis Garcia have now joined our staff of writers and all around great people. Between The Xbox Domain's late in the year 'illness' and my own personal under-the-weatherness, the latest installment in What Has Happened Here has been a little bit behind. But F.E.A.R. not as I would never forget you, my faithful reader, for once again it is time to look back in time and spotlight some of the moments of interest in the world that is Xbox. But this is no mere wrap up... more.
