I don't know if anyone is happy about this. I can't buy Heroes Season 1 next year. The cryptic messages coming from European Business Development Director for HD DVD of Microsoft Mark Bennet (yeah, what a nice title) are all but encouraging. "The interactive features actually work on HD DVD whereas Blu-ray titles are six to nine months away from getting features that actually work," So now you ... more.

This gigantic Xbox 360 storage case has been seen before in picture form, but now that it's inhale curves are available in video form it's all the more nicer. Some people just might have a little too much time on there hands, but with the crazy line up of games on the horizon this doesn't seem all so bad to have. Two of a kind sounds great to me. A day late, but 20 bucks short. I'll take it. The Xbox 360 HD DVD player price will drop from $199 to $179 (in the U.S. only) starting August 1, 2007, and will add five free HD DVD movies for anyone purchasing an Xbox 360 HD DVD Player between August 1 and September 30. Five free HD DVD movies. Whats the catch? This is essentially the Toshiba "Perfect Offer" program extended, which was previousl... more.

A Sega Xbox 360 controller! WTF?
0 CommentsPosted by thewilleffect on July 16, 2007 under Misc
Today, we all know Sega as the company that used to make hardware once upon a time, but according to this Sears product page Sega has one mean trick up there sleeve or Sears has a April fools joke that went wrong in July rather then April. How this could happen or why it did is a mystery. At the time of this post the page has yet to be fixed. Could this be a disgruntled Dreamcast owner's doing?... more.

Kotaku reports that select Sam's Clubs are selling Xbox 360 HD-DVD drives for a measly $72 dollars. There seems to be no apparent reason why $72 was the set price point but either way that's a great deal if you are still on the market for an HD-DVD drive. Gizmodo reports that the sale maybe due to certain store's who will no longer be stocking the device any longer. One report states that the ... more.

Ben Heck does it again! How about a PS360 controller?
0 CommentsPosted by thewilleffect on April 15, 2007 under Misc
Ben Heckendorn is a mod genius, but this time his latest is something to see. Nothing special here to see, but a 360 controller. That is until you notice that there's something seriously wrong with this one. Ben has swapped the guts of the beloved 360 controller with that of the Sixaxis controller. Asked to do so by order, this is the strangest mod yet for sure. Mixing PlayStation with Xbox may ... more.
